Bathroom Renovations – What is Trending Up may Surprise You!

Today I spent a precious hour, in the chair at the hairdresser, scouring a home design magazine. It was enjoyable and there were a lot of bathroom renovation trends that inspired me. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until I had finished making my way through all the glossy pages that I realized the magazine was three years out of date. I’m not great at keeping up with trends, but am willing to do my research on ‘trending’ when it comes to:
  • buying a big ticket item
  • buying something that is going to be with me for many years
  • buying something that reflects who I am
  • buying something that will be hard to replace
Renovating a bathroom is one of those things that will include all of the above, so it’s one of the things I am willing to research. So show me the trends! The bathroom spa, so popular in the last decade, is on the decline. What is on the rise includes luxury that looks large, but takes up little space. What says luxury more than a bathroom TV? The world is your oyster with a click of a button! But how to know which waterproof TV is right for you?

In general, the plasma TV was the leader of the pack: they were bigger and had a better picture quality. So a few years ago, the waterproof plasma TV would have been the best choice. But now the LCD has caught up to match it, so a bathroom LCD could be right for you (this is a competition driven by the market, so shop around with your local waterproof TV suppliers for any deals on bathroom LCD TV sets.)

As for the waterproof LED TV, now we’re talking about a trend on the upswing! This cutting edge technology is a thing of tiny and precise beauty. Techno geeks predict that one day the LED TV will be as thin as the credit card you buy it with. Most bathroom TV suppliers today seem to concur with the techno-geeks in finding that the best middle ground right now, and in the immediate future, is to install a waterproof LCD TV. Yes, it must be a waterproof LCD – even if it is not right beside the shower, sink or tub.

Space saving is the one of the key considerations with renovations these days, especially when it comes to the bathroom (visit a few condo open houses and you’ll see what I mean!) The adage of getting `more for less` certainly holds true in today’s tough economy more than ever. The bathroom mirror TV does this beautifully: combining form and function in a unique, efficient and space-saving way.  My bathroom TV LCD does double duty – a mirror for my vanity (and make-up applications!) and a TV for my spirit.

My LCD TV for bathroom use may not be able to massage my back, but it can massage my mind. The LCD in bathroom trend is escalating: if you are considering a lavatory upgrade you may want to consider what waterproof TV Australia has to offer:  a sassy little LCD TV in bathroom.

The Outdoor LED TV of my Dreams

Back in my days of being a part time chef, I worked for a ‘wealthy’ family. Their billion dollar home, designed by them and then painstakingly built by the best local contractors that money could buy had all the modern trappings imaginable.  And what lovely trappings they were!  The patio off the kitchen (That harboured three separate refrigerators) held a selection of glossy cookbooks. One day, thumbing my way through the collection for dinner ideas, I inadvertently leaned on a blue granite counter top. With this movement, a soft whirling sound began to trumpet in the rise of a sleek television set. I was gob-smacked by this surprise – a hidden TV where space was most certainly not an issue. The elegant stow-away TV set was a further example of the builders doing everything right. Why?  Because you cannot just smack any TV set in any given area, especially where there are environmental factors like moisture, direct sun, rain, hail, snow and wind to consider.

I wondered why the Riches (this surname is made-up as I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement upon being hired!) didn’t choose an outdoor TV cabinet or some sort of outdoor TV enclosure to house their telly in. It occurred to me that if they wanted an outdoor LCD TV – (Wah and e-gads! Upon closer inspection I realized that it was actually an outdoor LED TV, oooh I began to drool at the sexy cutting-edge technology!) – Why not simply house it in a weatherproof TV box or weatherproof TV enclosure.  Then I remembered that I had once met one of the chief contractors on the project who glowingly described (at the time I didn’t realize he meant the house that I would one day work in!) how they were ordered to spare no expense in ensuring that everything had been done better than the best.  The reason that the contractors did not opt for a simple weatherproof TV cover was because any short-cuts would have been a very poor alternative to having a television that is designed to be used outside.

So if you are considering an outdoor LCD television (or want to ask the Riches to get you an LED) don’t be tempted to settle for anything less than an outdoor weatherproof TV that has been designed and made, according to all necessary specifications by a reliable TV manufacturer. Although there are many reputable brands of televisions, the Riches` contractors along with so many others in the regions of Australia, consider Liquifi to be the market leader if you are seeking a Bathroom TV, a Kitchen TV or an Outdoor TV.

You may not have the budget of the upper crust who is able to buy a top of the line weatherproof LED TV, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy your favorite programs while sitting on your deck. A weatherproof LCD TV is within the reach of all of us today, with a little help from Liquifi.
